Removing the BlueCielo Publisher extensions

Prior to Meridian Enterprise Server 2013, the BlueCielo Publisher extensions for Meridian Enterprise comprised the following files:

• BlueCieloECM.Publisher.Client.dll
• BlueCieloECM.Publisher.Client.XmlSerializers.dll
• BlueCieloECM.Publisher.ServiceContract.dll
• BlueCieloECM.Publisher.UI.dll

Before installing Meridian Enterprise Server 2013, these files must be removed from each Meridian Enterprise server and client computer, including Publisher computers. The specific procedure depends on how the extensions were installed.

To remove the extensions registered manually from a CAB file:

1. In Meridian Enterprise Configurator, unregister the extensions BlueCieloECM.Publisher.UI and BlueCieloECM.Publisher.Settings.
2. On all Meridian Enterprise server and client computer, including Publisher computers, uninstall BlueCielo Meridian Extension - BlueCieloECM.Publisher.UI - x64.

3. Verify no files remain in the following folder:

   C:\Program Files\BC-Meridian\Extensions\BlueCielo Meridian Extension - BlueCieloECM.Publisher.UI

To remove the extensions that were deployed with a Meridian Enterprise (prior to 2013) setup program:

1. In Meridian Enterprise Configurator, unregister the extensions BlueCieloECM.Publisher.UI and BlueCieloECM.Publisher.Settings.
2. On all Meridian Enterprise server and client computers, including Publisher computers, start the Meridian Enterprise setup program, select the Modify option, and remove the BlueCielo Publisher extension component.

3. Verify no Publisher files remain in the following folder:

   C:\Program Files\BC-Meridian\Program

To remove the extensions that were deployed as a behavior with a Meridian Enterprise 2013 (or higher) setup package.

Note    You can verify that the extensions were deployed in this way by the presence of the Enable BlueCielo Publisher extension option on the Advanced Features property page of the vault in Meridian Enterprise Administrator.

1. In Meridian Enterprise Administrator, clear the Enable BlueCielo Publisher extension option on the Advanced Features property page of the vault.
2. On all Meridian Enterprise server and client computers, including Publisher computers, start the Meridian Enterprise setup program, select the Modify option, and remove the BlueCielo Publisher extension component.

3. Verify no Publisher files remain in the following folder:

   C:\Program Files\BC-Meridian\Program
